Mobula in Fujairah
Black tip reef shark of the coast of Fujairah

Begin your journey by turning left from the beach and heading north for about 20 minutes. Soon, Dibba Rock will rise from the sea like a sentinel, marking the start of an underwater adventure. Beneath the surface lies a 200-meter-long pinnacle that guides the entire dive. The first section features a dramatic vertical drop—an underwater wall that descends to the site’s deepest point. Along the top ridge, expect a vibrant display of tropical marine life, and if you're lucky, a graceful shoal of devil rays gliding past. As you continue around the island, the terrain softens into a gently sloping wall that leads to a stunning coral mountain. This area is teeming with life: blacktip reef sharks, turtles, and a kaleidoscope of reef fish. It’s also an ideal spot to pause for your safety stop, surrounded by the serenity of coral and sea.

MARTINI ROCK - WALL/REEF DIVE - 12 TO 19M

Wall Dive (12–19m) For divers seeking variety beyond Martini or Inchcape 2, the Wall Dive offers a refreshing change of scenery and enough space for a relaxed 50-minute swim from end to end. The dive begins with dramatic granite boulders, riddled with deep crevices perfect for exploration and macro sightings. As you progress, the terrain shifts to sandy patches where rare encounters await—like a seahorse curled around a sea pen or the graceful sweep of a bell ray gliding by. Approaching the bay, the underwater landscape transforms into a vibrant garden of hard corals and swaying anemones. Here, the depth shallows to around 8 meters, and the marine life flourishes. Expect dense shoals similar to those at Martini Rock, but with an even richer tapestry of tropical species. Angel fish, butterfly fish, and blacktip reef sharks are common sightings, and on rare occasions, even a majestic whale shark may cruise through—adding a touch of awe to an already spectacular dive.

ANENOME GARDENS - REEF DIVE - 12 TO 19M

Just a 20-minute journey south, this expansive site is one of the largest in our portfolio—spanning approximately 200 meters in length and 160 meters in width. In places, it feels like drifting through an underwater cornfield, with the corals swaying gently in the current. The site is divided into two main zones, with the deeper section offering the most dramatic topography and biodiversity. Marine life here is abundant and varied: expect to encounter Eksena crabs, slipper lobsters, shrimpfish, seahorses, bell rays, and a kaleidoscope of nudibranchs. SHARK ISLAND  - REEF DIVE -  5 TO 15M

Just a 20-minute journey south of Anemone and Coral Gardens lies Shark Island—a prominent rocky outcrop offering two distinct dive experiences: the sheltered bay and the dramatic wall. The Wall: Composed of massive granite boulders, this stretch requires a 250-meter swim. Closer to shore, you'll encounter vibrant hard coral formations, while further along the wall, the terrain becomes more rugged and vertical. The Bay: Spanning approximately 200 meters, the bay is carpeted with dense hard coral colonies, creating a rich habitat for marine life. Both areas are teeming with shoaling fish such as cornetfish, trevally, mackerel, fusiliers, sergeant majors, and damselfish. Divers may also be lucky enough to spot larger marine visitors like green turtles, honeycomb moray eels, and the occasional blacktip reef shark. For those who venture beyond the wall and follow the rocky contours outward, a spectacular reward awaits—immaculate table corals stretching over 2 meters wide, surrounded by a thriving community of tropical Indian Ocean species.

HOLE IN THE WALL - REEF, CAVERN & WALL - 5 TO 15M

Turtle

Located just 20 minutes from the center and in close proximity to Martini Wall, this site shares similar marine biodiversity with both Martini Wall and Martini Rock. Upon arrival, you'll notice two prominent rocks breaking the surface, with a third just beneath. Below, the main rock formation stretches approximately 130 meters, making it a sizable site that takes around 40 minutes to circumnavigate at a steady pace. Signature Feature – The Hole: This swim-through tunnel spans 15 meters in length, with dimensions of roughly 3 meters wide and 1.5 meters high. As an overhead environment, it offers a thrilling passage—though you may need to yield to passing rays or turtles who frequent the space. Deeper Exploration: On the sandy bottom of the deeper section, divers often encounter large rays resting or gliding by. Venturing further out reveals hidden gems like delicate seahorses and colorful nudibranchs, adding a macro photography opportunity to the dive.

CORAL GARDENS - REEF DIVE - 24 TO 28M

Situated adjacent to Anemone Gardens, this site likely once formed part of the same expansive reef system. Though slightly more compact, it still spans an impressive 140 meters in length and 100 meters across, naturally divided into two equal sections. Topography: The layout mirrors that of Anemone Gardens, with similar coral structures and terrain, making it familiar yet distinct. Marine Life: Biodiversity here closely resembles its neighboring site, featuring a vibrant mix of reef fish and invertebrates. The key difference lies in its depth—offering a deeper dive experience that attracts species adapted to lower light and cooler temperatures.

SNOOPY ISLAND & SNOOP DEEP REEF

Located approximately 500m east of Fujairah’s famous Snoopy Island, lies the dive site ‘Snoopy Deep Reef’. As the name suggests, this dive site is at the deeper depth limits with the bottom reaching around 24m down - so divers must be at least Advanced Open Water to dive here. The site itself features the wreck and trailer of a small diving boat that was purposely sank to serve as an artificial reef environment, attracting an abundance of marine life to seek shelter within and around the wreck. The metallic structures are now encrusted in both hard and soft corals.

INCHCAPE 2 - WRECK DIVE - 18 TO 21 M

Wreck

Located just across from Martini Wall at a depth of 18 to 21 meters, Inchcape 2 is a captivating artificial reef with a rich backstory. Originally a surface supply vessel, she was purposefully scuttled in 2002 thanks to a generous donation from Inchcape Shipping Services. Resting upright on a sandy seabed, the wreck has since become a thriving marine habitat. In 2007, Cyclone Gonu dramatically altered her structure—tearing off the wheelhouse and earning her the nickname “the big metal canoe.” Despite the damage, the site has flourished into a biodiversity hotspot. Divers frequently encounter shoals of Fusiliers, oversized Puffer Fish, and an astonishing variety of Nudibranchs—over 20 newly recorded species have made this wreck their home. Inchcape 2 also serves as a training ground for our Wreck Diving courses. For those seeking a deeper challenge, the site offers penetration opportunities up to 20 meters, making it both an educational and visually rewarding experience.

INCHCAPE 1 - WRECK DIVE 20 T0 30M

Just a short five-minute boat ride from the dive center, Inchcape 1 rests at a depth of 30 meters and is often the first stop on our itinerary for Advanced divers or the chosen site for night dives. Originally gifted to the diving community and intentionally sunk in 2001, this wreck now lies on a sandy seabed, its structure dramatically altered by a powerful cyclone that tore off the wheelhouse and displaced the vessel nearly 50 meters from its original location. Today, Inchcape 1 is a thriving oasis of marine biodiversity. The wreck is so densely populated with aquatic life that divers often need to gently part the schools of fish to fully appreciate the structure beneath. Among its most beloved residents are two Honeycomb Moray eels—affectionately named Fred and Wilma—alongside a pair of seahorses and, during the warmer months, up to four elusive frogfish. This site also serves as a prime location for technical dive training, including rebreather and sidemount configurations, offering both challenge and beauty in equal measure
